PRODUCT STORY
This necklace is made for women who are more liberal in their fashion choices or who enjoy wearing/collecting unique pieces. And as it goes... A girl needs options!

For this reason, I've created pieces that showcase various colors and styles of shoes, but also pieces that showcase only one color and style of shoes. Whichever necklace you choose, you'll be sure to have purchased a conversation starter and your newest favorite accessory for any and every occasion.

Interesting but it looks more like something my 11 year old goddaughter would want to wear at her birthday party. That and the Price? I mean seriously no offense but it can't be worth that much after all how many little girls have old Barbie shoes lying around? I know I had plenty and I Hated Barbies. I just don't see that many adults walkign around wearing this. Sorry Creative and interesting but no.

Thanks for all of the great feedback that's coming in on this fun design. It's too soon to tell whether this piece is a shoe-in for the finals, so keep the votes coming! Remember, Sara makes these pieces by hand, strategically drilling each doll shoe to allow it to hang properly. The necklace is not only a clever use of these little plastic shoes, it also contains sterling silver.

Hey Everyone! I'd like to give you a little more information about this necklace! There are over 450 doll shoes, each hand-drilled in a specific place to create the aesthetic here, which is also protected under US Copyright Law. The clasp is a completely hand fabricated toggle with Roman chain, using sterling silver. There are many more pieces in the collection, so if this piece is not in your price range, you may still fall in love with a bracelet or pair of earrings. -Sara Gallo

I love the nostalgic feel that I get while viewing the necklace, yet it has quite a joyful modern look to it. Each shoe seems as though it was hand placed in just the right location in order to achieve the desired overall look. Obviously a quality, hand-made .999 sterling chain and necklace will not be anywhere near as cheap as a coated piece of steel chain, which you would find in mass manufactured pieces from China, with shoes possibly arranged haphazardly, and most likely poorly fastened to the piece. Assuming this piece was designed and assembeled by hand, and the chain formed from the raw materials by hand, I could definately justify the price. If you like the piece but don't have the money or want to pay for a piece of ART designed and manufactured in USA, then by all means continue to look for cheap mass produced items made overseas and continue to drive our great country further into the ground. Well done Sara!

Her craftmanship is impeccable. She always works until she gets exactly what she wants out of the piece. I am proud to say that I have witnessed her work progress and I am so glad that she has always kept with her point of view. I think this piece is fantastic - I love the flow and the fact that you can't see how the shoes are connected to the chain beneath. You only get the best when you purchase Sara's work!

These are really unique and would be fun to wear. However the cost is way above what I would spend because the item is just too memorable.

this one's just plain weird and WAY too expensive for being just a bunch of Barbie shoes strung together!

Very cute but the price would stop me from purchasing this. What could be made of to have this pricing. The price limits purchasers. I have several friends where this would make a great gift but I don't spend this much for a friend's gift.

I think you already found the winner. That price is just right. Not everybody can own something like this. Isn't that what makes it UNCOMMON?

I'd definitely would buy this piece! The first thing I thought of when I saw it was that it reminded me of Alice in Wonderland - I can imagine sitting @ the Very Merry Unbirthday Party drinking tea with my "garden party" necklace on : )

I love the colors! Although, it is a little pricey, I've bought other jewelry from this artist and it's definitely worth the splurge because she really stands behind the quality of her work.

priced way too high for doll shoes...I cannot see having this as part of my timeless collection...more novelty and of the moment...would be great if scaled down for little girls...but not at 300...more like 20

Reminds me of the charm necklaces with plastic charms that I wore when I was about 8 years old.

Sorry I am going to have to completely agree with Kelli below! And when I think about how many Barbie shoes I have thrown out over the years...good lord...maybe should be in a Barbie museum or something.

Cute, but I wouldn't pay more than $40. It looks PLASTIC, of course. I would have to see it in real life to see if I would pay more.
