PRODUCT STORY
This necklace is part of my series called 'The Tiny Terrarium' collection, which explores and expands the concept of the terrarium. In this unique collection, both flora and fauna are celebrated with whimsical charm.

These miniature nature dioramas are encapsulated in small glass containers, preserving the wonder of magical moments. This necklace showcases my fascination with all things miniature and displays a high level of realism--I delight in the details!

I create each component in my "tiny terrariums" by hand--every flower, butterfly, and mushroom. Every item in this collection evokes a kind of wonder, as if each piece were a specimen from a cabinet of curiosities.

We thought Mai McKemy's "tiny terrariums" were worthy semi-finalists in the Uncommon Jewelry Design Challenge. What do you think of these rose necklaces?

Hello everyone; thank you for voting! I'm Mai Mckemy, the designer of these Tiny Flower Terrarium necklaces and the artist behind the brand Woodland Belle. I appreciate your comments, and have taken your feedback into consideration. Several of you are discouraged by the high price, and I wanted to explain my reasoning behind it. The vials for these are customized for this particular design, and I have them specially made. The sterling cap is also handmade and solid silver. I use the highest quality sterling silver components and genuine gemstones for my designs, and assemble each chain myself. Each flower is meticulously handcrafted one at a time in miniature scale, and I take great care to make them realistic. Because a lot of love and time goes into each necklace, they are priced higher. I will continue to monitor the feedback here; thanks again for voting!

Mai has a variety of styles and types of necklaces that I have loved through her site. Her creativity and craftsmanship have earned me many compliments on different items I've worn, from hair clips to necklaces, at weddings, in special dates out with my husband, and in day to day life. The exquisite detail of each piece has always brought compliments from strangers and questions about where I find my jewelry. I'm 30 and love a youthful natural girl style, and her jewelry hits the nail on the head for me and my tastes. She has lovely photos and items that are even lovelier in person. I love each that I own, and I'm the fussy type when it comes to jewelry. I love what she has made and am fortunate to be able to wear such beautiful and unique jewelry. I'm very happy with the jewelry she makes.
