Recycled Circuit Board Cufflinks

PRODUCT STORY
Every day, electronics are thrown out at a much greater rate than those that are recycled. I aim to collect components before they meet an untimely end to create modern, geeky jewelry and accessories.

Circuit Board cufflinks are a great way to finish a formal outfit, yet proclaim a love of geekery.

Inspiration to create this product line came from a chance combination of my discovery of resin and my brother's need to disassemble his computer. The rest is history!

Circuit Boards are extracted from their housing, stripped, cut, sanded, and cleaned, then coated in a two-part resin.

All jewelry is made in my home studio in Rochester, New York.

Really like that these are blue instead of green, which is usually the color of items made of recycled circuit boards.

Hello, Amanda Preske here. I don't just make cuff links! I also make earrings, necklaces, keychains, bracelets, tie tacks, bobby pins, and rings. Circuit boards can be found in just about any color, including shimmering yellow, purple, bright red, black, just about any shade of green, and turquoise.

I love the fact that these showcase recycled materials at a reasonable cost! So often, recycled items are more expensive, due to the added labor in creating something beautiful with them. Love the color

Awesome but few men wear cufflinks anymore. I always get comments on a circuit board (small) on a keychain I carry regularly.
