PRODUCT STORY
I make jewelry and accessories for the kid and the kid at heart. I give the 70s shrinky dink a modern spin; designing the pieces in Photoshop and Illustrator. The designs are then printed (or in some cases drawn) onto the special paper, meticulously cut, and then baked. After coming out the oven, they take their form as earrings, necklaces, rings, pins, and barrettes.

When I look at something and I want to explode because of how cute it is, that's what inspires me. That feeling that comes over you and makes you feel like a kid. A motto of mine is "If you look at my work and don't get a cavity from how cute it is, I didn't do my job."

Darling earrings. I'd wear them and would also like them for my 14 year-old granddaughter.

Thanks for all the comments and votes! | Kat: I can make a non-post version custom order if you would like. The items would be a bit larger though. | I love making jewelry that blurs the age line. Who says you have to be a certain age to be a kid at heart?

Thanks for the feedback, Nancy! These Paper Plane earrings are handmade by designer Faheema Chaudhury, who draws or prints her illustrations on to a special paper, then cuts and bakes them to create jewelry. For more information, please see the product story on the left.

What I thought was cute was the idea of these miniature items telling a story in this little bottle....I would buy that. I probably would not wear the items...yet I would buy a little collectible for my shelf like this.
