Pizza Laptop Case

PRODUCT STORY
Take technology to-go with Barbara Movius' fresh Pizza Laptop Case. A direct reference to Marcel Duchamp's "readymades"--purchased, everyday objects considered art by decree of the artist--Movius created this piece as a canvas for conversation.

At once inviting and abstract, each flexible, scratch and water resistant laptop case challenges the shifting form (and purpose) of technology, sustenance, art and photography. Carry one in the spirit of unconventional boundary blurring, or as an homage to your favorite snack. Made in Massachusetts using a more sustainable vinyl and lining made of 100% wool. Velcro closure.

This doesn't appear worth $10. But $60? I expect better from Uncommon Goods.

Pizza and computers? -- just seems messy, what with pizza being greasy and gooey.

There is absolutely nothing about this that I couldn't make myself for all of $5-10 in materials and findings.Customers have higher expectations.

WOW!!! Way too pricey for the product. I wouldn't even pay $20 for it but maybe a teen would.

Love to see people taking the time to think about products from so many different standpoints. Still Life subject matter has been around from even before roman wall paintings through the Middle Ages, Renaissance, every century, impressionism and on through Campbell soup cans. 21st century artists and photographers inspire, provoke and stimulate dialogue in new ways. Using unusual materials and unexpected pairings, these bags make the case for fresh, local and good for you food— a universal value to celebrate. Minimal design, easy on the environment, lightweight sturdy outside and thick wool felt interior, provides a great, safe way to carry anything that wants to be in a slim, smart bag, and also fit nicely into an oversize purse, large tote, backpack, or wherever you stow your gear when pushing a stroller, biking or being out and about. Thanks for weighing in!Barbara

Wool anything electronic = bad idea. Remember how easy it is to shock yourself when you're in wool socks? That same shock can kill your laptop (not to mention it's itchy as all get out). I question how safe this product is for a laptop. I imagine the heat from the laptop after being used would have a harder time dissipating in this bag than others on the market. Did I mention that the static factor is also really bad for electronics?

Too expensive, and would rather it not be food. Or if it is food, it's something like fruits. A print is nice, but this isn't appealing.
