PRODUCT STORY
A creative way to get your daily serving of gadgets, these punchy iPad cases by artist Barbara Movius marry the elements of the Dada anti-art movement with fresh-picked photography. A direct reference to Marcel Duchamp's "readymades"--purchased, everyday objects considered art by decree of the artist--Movius created them as miniature canvases for conversation.

At once abstract and functional, each flexible, scratch and water resistant case challenges the shifting form (and purpose) of technology, sustenance, art and photography. Carry one in the spirit of unconventional boundary blurring, or as a cheeky way to keep your iPad healthy. Made in Massachusetts using a more sustainable vinyl and lining made of 100% wool. Velcro closure. Sold separately.

Apple products are not clever, uncommon-goods, they're overpriced, overhyped, fanboy fads.

I don't get it. Why would I want anything (laptop case, iPod case, bag) with a photo of food on it? It also sort of offends me (though it clearly wasn't meant to). I keep thinking of how many people in America view food as not just sustenance, but as decoration too. It's sad to me to think that most of the world cannot afford to view food as decoration - they actually need it to survive. Hence, I find this a tad offensive. But that's just me. ;)

Could be cute for two best friends, who are like "peas and carrots." Not for me personally but a cute concept. :)

i like the fresh feel- but most ipad cases allow easier access to the device instead of pulling it out, because then it's unpretected

Like the pizza laptop case, too much money for a cheap looking case whose design does not go with what is inside.

Seriously?!...pizza laptop case; fruit and dessert clutch wallets; and now veggy iPad cases. Was the "artist" having a tough day on his diet?! These are terrible.

Marcel, seriously, keep your vinyl and wool (pictures of food) away from electronics. This is not art, it's crap.

Stop with the food accessories. These are ugly and the photography looks like something from a 1980's middle school textbook!
