PRODUCT STORY
The Great Bambino struck out 1,330 times before reaching the Baseball Hall of Fame (and another 30 times in World Series games). Let Babe Ruth's steely resolve inspire you to step up to the plate at work and in life by taking risks with heart. It's not how many times you swing or miss, it's how you hold yourself at bat. Made of lead-free pewter in Rhode Island.

$35 is simply too much to pay for a paperweight. $10 or $15 and I could be convinced (I really like the quote), but $35 is too dear.

$35 is way too much for a paperweight, and the size is rather large too. I love baseball, but I would not find this functional at my desk.

Good thought, but when reduced to paperweight status, it quickly becomes hackneyed. Also not wildly pleasing asthetically

if it was on something more useful, it might be worth it, but who really uses paperweights these days? The quote is great, just not so much the product it was put on

Love the saying and this is the perfect gift for those baseball fans as well.

I would absolutely get it for several gifts- if it were not so OVERPRICED! I really like it and hope it lands in the catalog.

I would like to see it be a few inches larger to justify the price.

Positive saying, I like. Price, I do not.

Don't like baseball. Don't like paperweights. Don't actually like paper all that much. :-)

I like the quote but I don't like the shape. I would've picked a sphere or a ball or bat with one flat surface.I wouldn't pay that much either for a paper weight unless it made of lead crystal or something more interesting than heavy metal.

It's cute and I like the quote.

We are a hockey family. While I like the quote, it does not apply to our sports interest.

If you brought the price down to $20, I could definitely see myself buying this.

Do people still use paperweights? It would be better as a wall hanging or something.

This would be much better as a wall-hanging. Love the quote and the shape though!

If you're going to use the quote, you should use the full quote. Also, who still uses paperweights?

Like the sentiment, but the style is boring and, a paperweight? Really?

I have a t-shirt that says this. I won't buy this paperweight because I don't want to take the chance that one of my multitude of grandchildren will decide to use it as a weapon but I love the saying!

I love anything to do with baseball as gifts for my family! Although the price is a little steep, I've already gotten the "Safe" paperweight currently for sale...which cost more. So I can't complain too much.
