Sleek and steady wins the race with this innovative pen, designed with a patent pending SNAPback™ mechanism. A recoiling case "pulls back" in lieu of "push" buttons for ergonomic penmanship that works in line with your grip. Elegant with a twist, the design stays true to its name with an extendable case that pushes out like a "turtle" to activate the ink nib, creating a modern silhouette.

Writes in black ink. Compatible with ballpoint and EasyFLOW refills. Its Heavyweight stainless steel canister is ideal for storage and effortless gift-giving. Made in China.

I'm always on the look out for a funky pen but never seem to find any I like - pens all seem the same these days - I guess this is what I have been looking for but didn't know it...

Sounds to me like I would have to buy the ink for the pen and $55 is way to much to spend on just the pen shell.

I purchased one of these pens recently from the manufacture. They have great customer service and the pen is simply said beautifully crafted I have the black work and it fitts perfectly in the front pocket of my dress shirt the snap back feature is unique and gets noticed by others I would highly recommend this pen to anyone the case it comes in feels like a solid steel bar it's so well made that it's hard to not want to put the pen back in it when not in use. And the pens turtle head feature is cool to see in action and the logos make this pen one of my favorites down to all of the unique details and accents.

Everyone should have at least one pen that is as unique and stylish as this one.

For that price I'd think it could be made in the USA. Like the idea though.

Price is too high for something that my husband would ultimately lose (even if I purchased it for myself).

effortlessly cool pen! makes a real change from the stuffy corporate pens on the market. I am the proud owner of a Turtle Play Pen and and it writes better than any pen I have previously owned.

It's a pen. The price is to high for a pen.

Love the idea, the name and the look.... but would not pay that much for an item that was made in China. And why do pens never have blue ink?

Who would pay that for a pen?!?! Someone with way too much money to burn!!!

Clarification for people o have purchased two of this company's pens and love them they are very well made.Kimmy the pen does come with ink you are not just paying for a shellCarrie although it come with black ink here you can always get a blue ink refill and it can be purchased with blue inkAll the people with the issue of it being made in China most of the stuff the world buys is made in china, when you look at the quality ofanufaturing and the time to design it the could have made it in scotland but it would cost 4 to 5 times more. I love my iPhone bit would hate to see how much it would cost if it were made elsewhere. And all though it is a pricey pen there are pens that are made with farless quality and cost far more and is long as your a person that keeps there pens with out losing it you could have this for a life time. As someone who owns this pen and would buy more as gifts I hope to see it here but will end with it as made as close to art as it is a pen

Hi everyone! Thanks for all of your great comments and questions. To clarify, the pen does include black ink. When the original ink runs out, you can purchase refills in black or blue ink.
