Design with Lift-Off
Let imagination take flight with this blueprint-style Wright Brothers tie. This fine piece of neckwear has designs based on the Wright Flyer, which the aeronautical brothers first tested in 1903. It was the first piloted, motor-driven machine to achieve flight. A fun piece for the architect, pilot or innovator in all of us. Made in the USA and Korea.

A little spendy, but it is silk, so thumbs up.

Cut the price in half and I'd vote for it, even if the material was changed from silk. It's an awesome design, but $45 is more than most people can afford for the shirt under the tie. In this day and age a company will make more money selling quantity than quality.

again with the weird ties, how does anyone know what it is unless you explain it, and then what's the point?

Most of my men don't wear ties, probably wouldn't wear baby blue, and from the pics, hard to tell the design is anything special.

Not sure I like the color though. What about black with white?

My husband is a pilot, he has been in love with planes since he was 4...he would love this!

One more aviation tie is always good...have husband who is great pilot, but shy...always wears an aviation theme tie when going to someplace where "small talk" is going to be required and let's someone else start the conversation! And it is hard to find ones that are nice silk ties and not cutesy planes.
