From designing rooms to dressing them, interior designer Denise Fiedler's attraction to the art of collage began when she stumbled upon a box of vintage books and newsprint in her attic. These ephemeral fragments of literature proved inspirational for Denise, who decided to transform her attic's forgotten library into art.
To put a new spin on these old texts, she carefully carves shapely silhouettes from the yellowing pages and she then assembles the cutouts into an endearing pastiche that deftly captures the unmistakable frame and details of the classic station wagon. This delightful depiction of a lovable jalopy is bound to capture the hearts of those with a steadfast attachment to their old, reliable car. Handmade in San Francisco, California.
