wooden race cars with driversby Ken Como
- the story
Traffic Speeds to a Crawl
Some carmakers really know how to baby their drivers. Take this pint-sized roadster, for example. Its head-shaped handles, with wide-awake or sleepy inlaid eyes, are just the right size for tiny hands. Its retro curves and hand-lathed, hand-sanded wooden contours provide an excellent handling experience, and the all-natural materials ensure that nothing toxic is going to spoil the ride. Handmade by Ken Como in New York.
"Sleepy" (on left) and "Alert" (on right) sold separately.
