Czech Republic Dreams
The Czech Republic's beautiful town of Karlovy Vary is famous for many things, not least of which are its Wine Wafers - delicious, crispy cookies meant to accompany your favorite wine.
Wine Wafers go as far back as 1640, where they were introduced as a treat for the nobles and visiting upper-class. Over the years, they've garnered fame and admiration for their delicate flavor and crunchy texture.
All wafers are hand-prepared by artisan bakers using the original recipe from 1640, aged, filled with a special, all-natural filling and baked once again.
Available in three flavors: Lemon-Vanilla-Almond, Mocha-Chocolate and Raspberry-Almond, each meant to accompany white wine, red wine, and champagne, respectively. Eight cookies per package. Handmade in Sacramento, California.
