Ben Gibson and Patrick Mulligan strive to "connect the dots" by compiling complicated data sets on a given topic of interest and then devising a graphic way to display it beautifully. They met while working at a publishing company, where Ben was a designer and Patrick was an editor. Both collaborated with authors to bring ideas to the printed page, but they had yet to work on anything that was fully their own. Their independent products combine deep research with beautiful design to take the head-spinning data of today's world and transform it into something clean, elegant, and comprehensive.

Comments about UncommonGoods Whiskey Taxonomy Glass Set:

I've only had the product for a few weeks now, but so far so good. Four is the perfect number for a set like this, as I always prefer to share a glass of whiskey with a group of friends. The size and quality are great, and the list of global brands on each glass are very cool. I would have loved to see another option such as a "global" variety (i.e. Japan, Canada, etc), but the four options listed are still excellent. I'm looking forward to using these with a few of my other whiskey-drinking friends and colleagues.

    Husband loves these!

Comments about UncommonGoods Whiskey Taxonomy Glass Set:

These glasses are gorgeous. Heavy duty with a satisfying heft, the etchings are easy to read and fun for my husband to go through and see which ones he's tried and ones he didn't even know existed. He enjoys drinking from these and while it states that they're dishwasher safe we'll skip the risk of damage to the words and wash by hand.

Comments about UncommonGoods Whiskey Taxonomy Glass Set:

Wow. I purchased these as a gift for my friend, now I need to get some for me. And another set for my brother. And probably one for my father. Basically any whisky drinker that I want to give a gift.

They are large glasses, (larger than I would normally drink whisky out of), but they are very attractive, detailed and feel very well made.

Reading through the list of whiskies on the sides of the glasses, the lists cover a very wide range of the available whisky makers. These will be a very fun set of glasses to drink out of!
