Love Notes

Sure, blenders, toasters, baking pans, and bed sheets are great gifts for a new couple, but when you want to present something that really shows how you and all the other invitees feel, nothing quite hits the spot like this Wedding Wish VaseR. David Vorhees' beautiful, handmade porcelain note vase is sure to capture their hearts and hold their attention (and, not to mention, their wedding guests' warmest wishes). The top opening is just large enough to allow guests to slip up to 150 rolled up wishes into this gorgeous vessel.

During their first year of marriage this enchanting piece makes a beautiful home accent, reminding the couple of their special day. And on their first anniversary, as they share a saved slice of their wedding cake, the couple can gush over their guests' best wishes and heartfelt bits of advice. The foot of the vase has been perforated, so with the gentle tap of a wooden spoon these saved strips will come spilling out. Each elegant piece is wheel formed and then hand-decorated with your choice of decorations for a one-of-a-kind couple. Handmade in North Carolina.

      Comments about WEDDING WISH VASE:

My fiancé and I received this as a wedding gift from my aunt (we got it shortly before the wedding so we were able to incorporate it). Our wedding guests wrote little notes for us and we just opened it on our first anniversary. I must say, I LOVED this idea! I would have never thought to do something like this and am thrilled that my aunt did. Great idea for anyone getting married!

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the bottom didn't break out so easily, we ended up chipping off part of the bottom of the vase. But don't worry, we'll just glue it back on and put it back up on our shelf!

      Comments about WEDDING WISH VASE:

This vase is very cute. The design is pleasant (I purchased the dogwood). However, it is small - about 12" in height - and the opening is quite tiny. It was difficult to roll the paper small enough to fit it into the opening. Otherwise, it was a unique gift that was appreciated by the couple because they did not have a guest book. Also, the idea of having something that they can open in the future is nice.
