watermelon wedge earringsby Ashka Dymel
- the story
Shine From Ear to Ear
Polish-born jeweler Ashka Dymel lets her background in geometry, modular design, and architecture inform the aesthetic of her uniquely painterly jewelry. In all of her elegant pieces, translucent, semi-precious gems are arranged carefully like still pools of paint on an artist's palette. Like a proper painting, she frames each tender artwork in swirled, coiled, or boxed strips of sterling silver, giving each piece structure and a refined appearance.
These handmade, rectangular earrings layer droplets of garnet, pink and green tourmaline, and peridot in a vertical stack in spectrum order. The graceful yet restrained beauty of these rainbow-hued pieces brings a pop of color to the formal ensemble or can add polish to your favorite jeans-and-tee. Handmade in Brooklyn, New York.
Pair this piece with the matching Wedge Necklace.

Comments about WATERMELON WEDGE EARRINGS:
Needed more sparkle. My friend may think I didn't think about her. Editing is difficult.
