Vicki and Richard Kung
Designers Vicki and Richard Kung are inspired by all things robotic and sci-fi. This focus on sleek, smooth lines and giving their pieces a futuristic feel lead to the metallic pieces and out-of-this-word qualities in many of their designs.
It's no surprise the duo is designing pieces fit for the future. Richard has been collecting robots for 25 years and Vicki is a lifelong sci-fi fan who got her first robot at age 6. See all creations.

Thanks for the question, Emilie! The estimated price is for a set of four placemats. Happy voting!

Add a black chalk board edge at the front or back for a name plate. user could write it upright or for persons on opposite side of table to read it.. That would be worth an extra 10-15 dollars. Love the idea!

Are they washable?

Basically a nice concept, it just reminded me instantly of a Mickey Mouse, a Teddy Bear and a Puzzle piece. With a less iconic design it should work well.

I LOVE this!! and would be happy to get it! I love the fact that it is recycled and it just looks weird/different which is totally me! I like the unique look and just everything about it! =)

Thanks for all of your great feedback on these placemats! The mats come in a set of four, and should be washed by hand. According to the designers, the best way to wash them is in the sink with a little dish soap. Since they are made out of recycled plastic bottles, they can't be put in the dryer and should be air dried.

Excellent concept. Great price point. However, the design is pedestrian.
