Waste-Free Lunch Kit

$45.00

Look Ma! No Waste!

Give kids a lesson about conservation at every meal with these waste-free and fun-filled lunch kits.

Each kit includes a cute cotton bag with Velcro closure and rope handle, two 8 oz. reusable stainless steel containers, a reusable food wrap with Velcro closure, a 16 oz. stainless steel drink bottle and a cotton napkin.

A wonderful way to make green living a part of everyday life and instill lifelong values in your children, these lunch kits will not only help you save the environment, but they also help you save money.

Why you should green-bag it:

- The average child generates 67 pounds of lunchtime trash per year.

- Save money by not having to buy plastic baggies and bottles, paper napkins, milk cartons, foil, plastic wrap or single serving foods.

- Each year 38 billion plastic bottles end up in landfills.

- By not using plastic baggies, bottles and bags, we help reduce the 1.5 million barrels of oil used in making these products each year.

    Comments about Waste-Free Lunch Kit:

I use this for my lunch everyday. Our campus is in the process of a "go green" intiative and I realized I was wasting so many plastic bags, etc.. a day just on my lunch. The lunch kit is great, the reusable tins are a perfect size as is the drink bottle. The only con would be the size of the reusable wrapper, it does not fit slices of hearty whole grain bread very well, but I've learned to work around that. All in all it's a great design and my co-workers ask about it daily!

I gave this product as a gift to a teacher friend. She had nothing but good things to say about it, and she got many compliments on it while in the teachers lounge.
