Ellen and Bret Hammen a husband and wife team, currently work together to create handmade products in the USA. Ellen got into the industry in High School, running a hand made clothing shop. She continued her vision while going to F.I.T. studying fashion design and fashion illustration. Bret went to NYU and the University of Minnesota, graduating with a degree in fine arts. He ran a successful gallery in Willamsburg, Brooklyn as well as showing his own kinetic sculptures at Donohue Sisinski Gallery in SoHo. The couple married and moved back to Connecticut to have a family.
