- the maker
From her Minnesota studio and in her frequent travels, artist Debra Dresler scrounges for a collection of "interesting little things" at flea markets, antique stores and junk shops to create her imaginative series of functional art pieces.
"My view of art comes from the beauty and lasting memories of everyday things," Debra says. "Some say life is in the details, I say life and art are in the everyday sacred. I am a believer in the 'ordinary as art'."
Debra uses a variety of materials in her work, from found objects, vintage typewriter keys, children's books, old cameras and discarded game pieces. The goals of her work is to bring "new life to old spirits," to tell a story and to help people make a personal connection to the past.

Comments about VINTAGE VIEWFINDER CLOCK:
This was supposed to be a gift for an antique and clock collector. I was very disappointed. View Masters are rather common antiques, and the wood and other materials appeared very cheap; therefore, I thought the cost was far too high
