We love that these beautiful bracelets are handmade by fair-trade artisans using reclaimed saris. The 14k gold is a nice touch, too! Would you wear this uncommon jewelry piece?

You can't tell it is sari material when it is all bunched up. Very expensive for a fabric bracelet. Would be easily mistaken for a child's craft project. Are they washable?

Kara
Vote: Thumbs up!

I like it but I think a price in the thirties would be better.

shirley

Very awesome looking.

Natalee
Vote: Thumbs down!

Pretty, but *way* too expensive.

Rhonda
Vote: Thumbs down!

Bracelets are nice, but I have to agree with Danielle. These look more like a child's craft project. Too bad - I've been looking for something like to share as a friendship-type bracelet. I may consider buying this bracelet if it was $20 less.

Linda
Vote: Thumbs up!

It's very nice but I think the price point is to high

Kim
Vote: Thumbs up!

Beautiful, love the blue especially where the gold peeks out from within the sari. I agree the price is a bit high, but I like that it's fair-trade!

Jeri
Vote: Thumbs up!

Great design and colors. I would most certainly purchase it either for my own use or as a gift.

Elisa
Vote: Thumbs down!

I like the fair trade aspect, but I like the patterns on saris, and you can't see any of that in these examples. Plus, it's really expensive for a bracelet, even if it is fair trade - I just wouldn't pay that much for this item.

angie
Vote: Thumbs down!

just looks like a tacky friendship bracelet and the price is insane!

Howard
Vote: Thumbs up!

I think that they are very nice.

Beverly

I especially like the blue one; would go great with jeans

Karel

colorful, good that they are fair trade but very expensive; I would not pay the price for them.

srithetree62

Yes, you can't tell the bracelets are saris but they are beautiful, the gold is a nice addition, and the fact that they ARE made out of saris but in my opinion makes them unique and makes for an interesting story when people compliment you and ask you questions about it while wearing them. It's a little pricey and I suppose that has to do with the gold, but I would purchase it. Please put this on uncommon goods!!

KL

Pretty colors, but fabric isn't practical in a bracelet.

Grace
Vote: Thumbs up!

Beautiful and hippie-like---but too expensive. I would consider buying it for a friend at a lower price point. I don't know that the 14k gold is necessary.

corinne
Vote: Thumbs down!

how do you clean this?

Vicky

love love love

Thanks for all of the feedback, everyone! To answer the question that's come up a few times - no, the bracelets are not washable.

Lisa
Vote: Thumbs up!

Beautiful, but priced too high. Something in the $20's would be more acceptable. Also it's impossible to tell that a sari fabric was used.

NeQuana
Vote: Thumbs up!

Love these bracelets--I would be looking to buy more than one...$42 each is a tad bit expensive.

Johnny Shuffle
Vote: Thumbs down!

Clever idea for a bracelet and very attractive. My wife would love it ... until she learned the price. It's too expensive for what it is.

Renetta
Vote: Thumbs down!

These bracelets don't appear either practical or durable. Once they get stained or snagged, they'll be JUNK!

Jerri
Vote: Thumbs up!

I like the looks of these, they seem to be a bit pricey. I think more would sell if they less. I would also like to seem them in sterling silver.

Dianna
Vote: Thumbs down!

I do remember this being a kid's project in Elementary School.

Kim
Vote: Thumbs down!

Nice idea, but can't tell it is from a sari. Too expensive.

Rich
Vote: Thumbs up!

Should consider offering it in silver and in men's size as well. That I WOULD buy.

Crystal F.
Vote: Thumbs up!

Love these bracelets, especially the coral

Sally
Vote: Thumbs up!

A little pricey for the quality of goods.

Pamela
Vote: Thumbs down!

Too expensive. Any fabric could be used. Why use a sari if it can't be seen?

Rinnell
Vote: Thumbs up!

I think its a wonderful piece but i dont care for the price

Kimberley
Vote: Thumbs up!

I think this is a great idea, but since the ends of the sari are unraveling, I think $42 is a bit unreasonable. Also, I don't like that I can't adjust the size of the bracelet. Other than that, I love this.

Susan
Vote: Thumbs up!

A little expensive for just gold plating and scraps of worn out clothing, but they are pretty.

coral

Yes inw

Tami
Vote: Thumbs up!

I like them. I would love them at a lower price and made with silver.

coral

Yes I would wear it, but no I wouldn't pay that much for it.

Jaclyn
Vote: Thumbs down!

These are actually really lovely, but I don't think I'd pay so much for them.

Dianna
Vote: Thumbs down!

Price too high, and I wonder how long the bracelet would last before the fabric becomes dull and worn. Also, afraid it might be a fad item.

betsy
Vote: Thumbs down!

I like the overall look but it's too expensive, though I understand the gold weave does raise the price. I would much prefer a silver accent (I prefer silver jewelry hands down) at a better price.

Natalie
Vote: Thumbs down!

Tutorials to make these bracelets are easily found online.

Jane

Very pretty! What size are they, or do they stretch? Need a bit more information.

Rosanne

I love the bold colors and the gold accents, but I think the $42.00 price is too much. $30.00 or lower would be a better price point.

Sarah
Vote: Thumbs up!

too expensive. however, beautiful.

Kimberly
Vote: Thumbs up!

too expensive

Mary Margaret

Very costly for being unable to appreciate the beauty of a Sari. Almost wonder what is the point...

Riane
Vote: Thumbs up!

I agree with the comments about the price. It's very pretty but $42 is too much. I think they're beautiful though!

audrey

too expensive; rather have something made in the usa!

Ali
Vote: Thumbs up!

Cute, almost bohemian looking. But the price should be $32 at the most.

Cheryl
Vote: Thumbs down!

I'm just worried that if the cloth gets clipped or starts fraying at one end, will I end up with a gold chain bracelet?

Ashley
Vote: Thumbs up!

I wish that they came in silver. I don't really wear gold jewelry, but I really love the look and concept of these bracelets.

Muriel
Vote: Thumbs down!

Sure is pretty, just too pricey.

Morgan
Vote: Thumbs up!

I LOVE those bracelets and I hope that they go on sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

pamela
Vote: Thumbs up!

These are beautiful. I hope there is a way to make them smaller. My wrist is only 5 1/4" in diameter,so I won't be able to wear one.

nadine
Vote: Thumbs up!

I think it would be great if you carried these in smaller sizes. 7" is way too big for my wrist and I would love to have one. Perhaps even a little cheaper...maybe $35 would be great as well.

Leslie

I like this, but the price is too high.

Mary
Vote: Thumbs up!

I really like the look of them and the idea of them, but I agree that they are way too expensive. Might think about it for $20 or $25.

Hannah

Price point way too high!

barbara
Vote: Thumbs down!

Too expensive

Lesley
Vote: Thumbs up!

Price is a bit high and you should consider requesting that they make it a bit larger as some of us don't have 7" wrists.

Stacey
Vote: Thumbs up!

These are beautiful and unique!

Jennifer
Vote: Thumbs down!

I am ok with this but not enough to buy it.

Caitlin
Vote: Thumbs up!

So beautiful! Love that they are upcycled!

Haley
Vote: Thumbs up!

Maybe $32?

ACB

Too expensive.

Kat
Vote: Thumbs down!

Not worth the price. I've seen a hundred tutorials online for identical bracelets. The gold is nice, but being dipped it's bound to wear through.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Yes, I like it. But thumbs down on the price.

Efrat
Vote: Thumbs down!

It looks cheap and it's way too pricey

Shahla
Vote: Thumbs down!

I like the idea of it, but it's too expensive for what it is.

Ginger
Vote: Thumbs down!

I don't wear bracelets

Deanna
Vote: Thumbs up!

I wouldn't pay that much, though.

Marcy

Very pretty, but too expensive. I'd pay $25-$30.

donna

It is a unique piece. Interesting discussion piece, but a bit pricey.

Joanne
Vote: Thumbs down!

Saris are beautiful and I would like to be able to see more of the gorgeous fabric, which you can't with a woven bracelet. Personally, I'm not a gold person either.

Susan
Vote: Thumbs up!

7" is very small - most bracelets start at 7-1/2". They should be larger, and they should be adjustable or available in various wrist sizes. I'm a big woman and have an 8-1/2" wrist. Fat people like pretty things, too.

Pixley
Vote: Thumbs up!

Awesome idea but I agree with everyone else - WAY too expensive.

SUSAN
Vote: Thumbs down!

I love the look but the price is too high The ends look as if they can fray easily. Also I think they are too home crafted looking for the price but pretty non the less.

josie
Vote: Thumbs down!

My mom buys gobs of sari fabric at thrift shops for next-to-nothing and actually makes proper Indian clothing and accesories. No, she isn't Indian either. She can just look at something and draw up a pattern for it.

Marcia
Vote: Thumbs down!

Very close to something my 9-year-old grandson made me last year!! The fact that it's recycled sari scraps and dipped bronze doesn't make it much prettier.

Judith
Vote: Thumbs down!

Beautiful, but why so expensive?

Amanda
Vote: Thumbs down!

Price is much higher than it should be for what it is.

DJ
Vote: Thumbs down!

They are too expensive.

Lea
Vote: Thumbs up!

I think the brcelets are beautiful and would love to see them is different colors. However, they are a bit pricey. $32 would be a better price and I would prolly get two.

Chennai08
Vote: Thumbs down!

I agree with Danielle in that one cannot recognize the material as being from a sari. I am not fond of the gold peeking out from the fabric, either. It is not something I'd want to wear or to give as a gift.

KK
Vote: Thumbs up!

I would also like to see it come in a non-yellow gold option (example: with silver)

Lynn
Vote: Thumbs up!

I like the bracelet, but price is too high.I would howevever definitely pay $20 for it.

Caitlin
Vote: Thumbs up!

I like them, but would like them more at the $25-$30 price point.

Holly
Vote: Thumbs down!

Although it is meaningful, I don't know that it would serve as a conversation piece, because (agreeing with others) I believe people would see it on your wrist and assume a child made it for you at summer camp.Which - would be totally OK, but not for such a high price point. Its beautiful, but not worth the money (IMO).

Susej
Vote: Thumbs up!

Looks great but the blue needs a better finish for the ends. The red looks awesome! I so want it!

jan
Vote: Thumbs down!

Beautiful, but I'd rather have just the fabric- not sure about the metal. Too expensive.

Dana
Vote: Thumbs up!

I like them, but they're rather pricey.

Jan
Vote: Thumbs down!

Bracelets like this are being overdone. This bracelet seems very expensive.

MaryAnn
Vote: Thumbs up!

Love these bracelets. This is the year of the bracelets for me and I love these!

Erica
Vote: Thumbs down!

Definitely not something I would wear.

sherry
Vote: Thumbs up!

I find the bracelets very pretty. Unfortunately, due to the design, where the material comes from does not make a whole lot of difference. The pricing is also high. I've seen a similar design in dog choker collars, it was also pretty. I like the contrast between the metal and cloth.

yasmein

super gorgeous

Teresa
Vote: Thumbs up!

Cool bracelet but a little pricy.

Robin
Vote: Thumbs down!

I agree with the other comments that the price point is too high; $15.00 would be more like it for an item that doesn't look durable.

Teresa
Vote: Thumbs down!

Sorry, like the idea of re-purposing the sari. However, the price is too high.

Sharon

I will give this a thumbs up if it has different sizes. I have very skinny wrist.

Angie
Vote: Thumbs up!

If you get two of them then I would get them. If that is $42 a piece that is kind of high for a bracelet that I know some of the younger set would love to wear.

Christy
Vote: Thumbs down!

These are very cute but I would buy them for maybe $15 not $42

Rachel
Vote: Thumbs down!

I like that they are hand made and fair-trade but I agree with the other comments that the estimated price is too high for a simple looking bracelet. The blue one is beautiful, I would happily buy it for half the price...

Laurel

Aa bit too expensive for my budget. They are pretty, but only the recipient would know how special they really are.

Sally
Vote: Thumbs up!

They are expensive, but I like them

david
Vote: Thumbs down!

Way overpriced

Naida
Vote: Thumbs up!

Cute.. but pricey

Diana
Vote: Thumbs down!

World Market has items that look very similar at a much lower price. I imagine many mall accessory stores will have something similar as well. Just not unique enough....

Rachelle
Vote: Thumbs up!

Beautiful colors and material. Love that it is hand-made of recycled materials.

Anna
Vote: Thumbs down!

I don't like the frayed edges on the blue bracelet. These bracelets only look nice if you are up close to them, otherwise it just looks like braided cloth.

Kay
Vote: Thumbs up!

great teenage girl gift

Meg
Vote: Thumbs up!

Great idea! I can already think of multiple people I would buy these for!

Eva
Vote: Thumbs up!

VERY VERY pretty, but they're over priced. If they were in the low THIRTIES i would buy them because well, they're Gorgeous.

Jill

I love the blue one, and agree it has an interesting story. I like the fair trade aspect, but keeping it clean and the price are negatives.

Lee
Vote: Thumbs down!

Love the look of them and would wear them but the price is a joke.

Terri
Vote: Thumbs up!

Beautiful

Paulina
Vote: Thumbs up!

wouldn't it be wonderful if it came in several colors.Nice piece.

Kelly

Very cute

Rubi

These remind me of camp crafts I made as a child, for free, here in the US...

kate

I enjoy the recycle purpose of these...also the beauty
