Style Stacks Up

Polish-born jeweler Ashka Dymel lets her background in architecture, geometry and modular design inform the aesthetic of her uniquely painterly jewelry. In all of her elegant pieces, translucent, semi-precious gems are arranged carefully like still pools of paint on an artist's palette. Like a proper painting, she frames each tender artwork in swirled, coiled, or boxed strips of sterling silver, giving each piece structure and a refined appearance.

This unique rectangular tiny pendant gathers mini droplets of iolite, topaz, tourmaline, and peridot in a striking vertical stack. The graceful yet restrained beauty of this earth-toned piece brings a pop of color to the formal ensemble or can add polish to your favorite jeans-and-tee. Handmade in Brooklyn, New York.

Pair this piece with the matching Horizontal Stone Earrings.

Notes
Soap and water works well on most mildly tarnished pieces. Use of fine Scotchbrite pad helps to maintain matte look. Liquid tarnish dip can also be used. Pieces can be submerged for 5 seconds or cotton swab can be used. It is important to rinse the piece well after liquid tarnish. An old toothbrush can also be used to clean around the stones. Polishing cloth can only be used on wires and polished parts.
