The Hot Seat
The perfect pick-me-up for your decor, this earthy ottoman is fresh-brewed from upcycled coffee sacks. The material is hand-woven, 100% cotton with the warm look and sturdiness of burlap but with a softer texture. It still has typographic fragments of its former life, accented with dark, coffee-colored piping between the individual cloth panels. The firm inner padding makes it a comfy seat, or use it to put your feet up for a well-earned break. The piece is crafted by Mayan artisans in South America, which helps them to earn a sustainable income while preserving their cultural heritage. Handmade in Guatemala.

This comfortable, stylish ottoman is handmade by fair trade artisans in Guatemala. We love that you can still see the print from the upcycled coffee sacks used to make it, and that although it looks like burlap, the handwoven material is actually soft. Would this piece look great in your home?

I believe in reusing instead of throwing it away. This item looks like it would be very comfortable place to my feet. We're also helping the people in Central America earn a living.

This is one of the most useful yet clever items! I need them for footstools, at 10" high. Hope they make it into the catalog. Fair trade and sustainable!

It reminds me a lot of the FEED handbags that were big for awhile.

whip stitching on bottom appears to be of poor quality and not able to withstand weight or rough handling by children or teens
