A Case For Women's Advancement

After befriending local seamstress Beatrice Agabe on a volunteer trip to Ghana, American designer Tina Tangalakis began a meaningful conversation with Agabe over the beauty of traditional textiles and the abundance of local talent. A partnership was born: Tangalakis returned to Los Angeles with a mission, launching their local women's job workshop, which provides jobs and education skills to women artisans in Hohoe, Ghana while producing radiant accessories like these padded laptop cases.
