Australian Accent

You don't need a garden of eucalyptus to give your backyard a Down Under vibe. This marsupial makes himself at home on a tree or post, wishing you and passersby a g'day. Highlighted by a natural rust patina that darkens with age, Chris Crooks' two-sided design can be easily hung we three brackets that won't damage the tree—so you can let him hang with peace of mind. Made in Arizona.

Chris Crooks

Drawing his inspiration from nature and the metal itself, Chris likes to stylize and whittle elements down to their most essential character. Every decision is important, from the simple profile of a rusted quail, to the design of his more elaborate wall sculptures. Chris hand-crafts each of his sculptures in his studio, nestled in the foothills of the Santa Rita Mountains, just outside Tucson, Arizona.
