The white bowl is covered in a patented material that is dishwasher and microwave safe, but feels just like the short fuzzy material on a box from the jewelers. The fabric allows you to comfortably hold the bowl without feeling the hot or cold temperatures inside. Also comes with a plate that fits perfectly on top of the bowl and provides a lid or sits under it as a base. In bold, graphic black and hot pink, these dishes are a great housewarming gift and a kitchy addition to any kitchen. Made in Germany.
