If you enjoy catching NPR's comedy news quiz, Wait, Wait... Don't Tell MeTM!, then catching this uproarious alarm clock might just make the morning more entertaining. The clock comes preset with nine different witty wake-up calls from the show's host, Peter Sagal, and announcer Carl Kasell. Not only that, but when the alarm goes off, this clock wiggles itself right off your nightstand and rolls away, motivating you to get out of bed in order to silence it.
The real prize here, though, is how many amazing features the Tocky conceals within its playful exterior. In addition to the prerecorded messages and a crazy alarm sound, Tocky(R) can be filled with 2 hours of MP3s using the included USB cable, and can wake you to the song of your choice. Or you can record your own message with its built-in microphone. An intuitive interface allows you to control its settings - including volume, and whether you want it to run away or not - by sliding your finger around the circular clock face. The durable clock, with its removable, silicone skin, can drop safely from 3 feet. Made in China.

This is a great concept; I love "Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me." You might lose a few people because of the price ($50 might be better?), but I think it's great.

I was so close to buying this for my nephew, but the comments on Amazon indicate the buttons are too small and that you have to reset it all the time. The only good comments were from two grandmothers. Grandkids always tell their grammas 'thank you, it's great'. The mom's didn't like it at all!
