The first truly pocketable camera support, the Tiltpod attaches to your camera's wrist strap so you're always ready to capture moments in a flash. No more digging through your bag for a tripod, and no more precarious balancing of your expensive digital camera. The Tiltpod's compact design features a quick-connect magnetic ball pivot whose rounded head screws into your camera's tripod socket and magnetically connects to the base for an instant hold at just about any angle. The magnetic pivot allows you to quickly adjust the camera to get perfectly framed shots and the underside of the Tiltpod base is made of a grippy material, so it's made to go where you go. Since the base holds a rare earth magnetic, it also helps it stick to inclined metal surfaces like car hoods, metal fence posts, or refrigerator doors without the risk of erasing your memory card. - Most compact digital cameras will work with the tiltpod. Some unusually large digital compacts may have limited range of motion or require external support. The tiltpod is not compatible with interchangeable lens cameras, like full-size DSLRs, micro 4/3s, or Sony NEX cameras. The lenses used on these cameras are too heavy for the compact tiltpod base.

My camera is small, but there has never been a tripod small enough to keep with me so I miss a lot of great shots - especially those low light pics when stability is critical. This solves that problem!

Been using mine for two months now, and loving it. The surface is grippy enough that you don't need a flat surface. I've used it on rocks, wood, plastic, and metal with the magnet. Makes it a lot easier to take those self-portrait shots anywhere.
