The World on a Platter

Deane has been drawing and writing since he was a little boy. He took to heart the advice that if you want to make interesting art, you must live an interesting life. He’s been a cowboy in New Mexico, a campaign manager in Las Vegas, and a banker on Wall Street. He’s dug dirt next to ex-cons and inventoried art next to museum curators. He’s been an actor on the New York stage and in Hollywood films. He’s always been a story teller, and, when his first daughter asked him to make some drawings with her, she inspired him to write and illustrate books to read to her at night and to somehow leave the world a better place.
The dishes are made from 100% recycled, BPA and lead-free plastic, and are printed with non toxic inks. Even the playful cardboard packaging plays a role, allowing you to forgo wasteful wrapping paper by using the box itself to write a personal message for the lucky recipient. Made in California.
