Making Spirits Bright
The holidays are meant to be a time of light and warmth, and these openhearted candle holders will add a special glow to your festivities. The white ceramic base creates the illusion of being a large columnar candle, but actually has a recessed opening at the top for holding a standard tea light (not included), which will cast its flickering glow across your decor. The inner glow you experience comes from the hand painted images on each, with their reminders to open up to the childlike magic of the season. Hand-painted by Beth Mueller in Vermont.

Beth Mueller
Raised in rural Indiana, Beth Mueller now lives in Barre, Vermont, where she creates splendid hand-painted ceramic pieces.
She is inspired by capturing small snapshots of what she sees around her. "It all amazes me," she says. "All of these pieces relate in one way or another to some part of my life--a trip, a person--they are often little personal notes..." See all creations.
