This delicious accent pillow is a sweet burst of eco-friendly design. A handmade piece of textile art, the cushion is covered with its candy-like flourishes that stand out against a black background, framed with color-striped piping. All of which is individually crafted by artisans in India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh. Each pillow will have unique variations in color and pattern that make them truly one-of-a-kind. The richness of its visual detail makes the pillow a perfect complement to the clean lines of contemporary furnishings or with playful, comfortable decor. Use it alone as a single focal point, or pair it with other, contrasting patterns. Cover can be removed for cleaning. Handmade in India.

It looks soft and comfy. I like that it's made with eco-friendly materials. I would be concerned, however, that the black backing would eventually color off on the colorful candies. I would hope that the black fabric backing has been pre-washed to prevent this happening.

The flourishes look like they will come off and/or be uncomfortable to lean against. I do like the piping along the edges.

This is really beautiful, but it's hard to imagine that it would be comfy to use. Also probably not a great idea for homes with pets and/or children.

This pillow has adult color scheme but taffy more of a child's domain. Seems kind of cheesy.

I think some people would be attracted to this pillow. If you had a "neutral" thumb I would have clicked on that. My main concern is that it is made in India, but the product story doesn't say if it's Fair Trade or if these artisans are poorly paid and poorly treated. Or how old they are. Those are big concerns of mine when I see anything made in India.

Yuck. Too busy, and lumpy looking. Use the decorations at the corners as accents, not a crocked mish-mash. Also, is this a fair trade Item?
