Katharine Harlan Owens

Before going into the baby business, Katharine Harlan Owens began her career in Wine Marketing in Napa, CA. She loved working in the wine industry because it allowed her to combine her passion for wine and food with her entrepreneurial spirit and love of marketing. As a self-proclaimed "foodie," Katharine credits Julia Child for inspiring her to be a strong woman both in the office and in the kitchen.

In early 2012, she embarked on a new career path, deciding to develop a product idea to keep her mind active and inspired while she hunted for jobs. She never thought this idea would develop into her company but she is so grateful to be where she is today.

Katharine's goal when she built this company was to inspire every mother and baby to enjoy the greatness of life. As Julia would say: Bon Apetit! collection

Comments about SUSHI BABY:

As a restaurant owner excited to create a gift package for my restaurant manager expecting her first baby, it was a great hit; one of those everyone wanted to pass around at the shower and see. The material is great and soft....but not really pretty....and didn't exactly look like sushi....but still such a cleaver "foodie" gift!
