"It's important to me that what I make gets used in everyday life, and that each pot speaks to its new owner with every use," says Patricia Bridges. Her formal training comes from her early days spent with the League of New Hampshire craftsmen and taking workshops with well-respected potters. As a young apprentice for a studio potter in western Massachusetts, Patricia gained skills and appreciation for good functionality and design in clay. Creating art with an emphasis on functional forms has always been a driving force in her work. Her portfolio encompasses serving pieces, platters, lamps, and artisan yarn bowls. An avid knitter who has personally tested her own designs, her yarn bowls have been coveted by knitters around the world and have been featured in Vogue Knitting.
