Show of Hands

Once upon a time, artists Jen List and Stacy Waddington stumbled upon a heap of unwanted sweaters and shirts. Finding their inspiration in the bright colors and soft textures of their retired materials, the pair decided to spin a yarn of their own by transforming the old fabrics into a line of new, snuggly, imaginative children's toys and accessories that encourage early learning and individual expression through creative design, wonder, and storytelling.

Give little ones a hand learning the classics by heart with these adorable, portable puppet sets inspired by the iconic children's stories "The Three Little Pigs," and "Goldilocks and the Three Bears." These delightful characters are handmade out of 100% cashmere recycled sweaters that have been rescued and re-imagined as finger puppets that are just full of surprises. These carry-along classics' eponymous characters are represented in vibrant handmade felt, making even the Big Bad Wolf cuddly. Handmade in Flossmoor, Illinois.Due to these puppets' handmade and reclaimed nature, each is one-of-a-kind and will vary.

Jen List & Stacy Waddington

Jennifer & Stacy met as preschool room mothers, sharing a love of children & artistic expression. With backgrounds in graphic arts & fashion merchandising, they were always looking for ways to share their creativity -- beyond the 4-year old audience -- and before long, seven smooches was born.

Working with little more than a sewing machine & bags of unwanted wool sweaters, the gorgeous tiny cardigans, hats, mittens & kimonos came to be. Upon the discovery of needle felting, cotton blankets were adorned with felty little animals & stars and beautiful handmade wool felt emerged as warm, comfy slippers.

Surrounded by the love & support of their husbands & families, as well as piles & piles of wool, Jen & Stacy hope you can share in some of the magic that has become... collection

I bought this for a shower. It was cute coupled with a storybook. I thought the material was soft and it looked like it was handmade. I was glad I bought it!
