A Nice Ring To It

This beautiful keepsake might start off as a stylish teething ring, but the timeless silhouette and long silver chain makes it an enduring, heartfelt reminder of your little one's first years.

The cold sterling silver ring soothes baby's teething gums, while a gentle rattling sound keeps them entertained while you hold them close.

Sterling Silver is cool to the touch, thus soothing to gums and is naturally antibacterial.

Like many moms can relate to, I had my hands full trying to keep up with the never-ending task of picking up dirty teething rings. After picking up the teether for the countless time, the idea of Momma's Jewels was born.
I wanted to create a beautiful piece of jewelry that was also safe for my baby to teethe on. After a few days of wearing a plastic teething ring around my neck, it dawned on me that my favorite jewelry, sterling silver, was the perfect combination of form and function. Silver baby rattles & cups have been used for generations and sterling silver happens to be safe and cool to the touch, perfect for soothing gums!
Each piece is handcrafted to make moms feel beautiful and chic, while also nurturing the bond between mother and baby, keeping baby in your arms for longer. I truly hope you and your baby enjoy your "jewels" as much as my baby and I enjoyed ours.

I like the concept but it would depend on where it is manufactured. It needs to be responsibly made within the US.

its made where? hopefully not china...you need to source the steel to ensure no health issues could be on the horizon.

My baby loves to chew on silver, and loves to gnaw on my jewelry. This would be a great teething necklace-- nice looking. I'd order it now.

Thanks for all of your questions and comments on this lovely sterling silver necklace! It looks like we forgot to mention that this piece is made in the USA, so we'll be sure to add that to our product story. Also, just for clarification, the necklace is not to be worn by babies or small children. It is meant for mama to wear and baby to teethe on. Once baby is too old to teethe, mom can still wear the necklace as a sentimental, yet stunning, keepsake from baby's younger years.

I NEED one of these lovely pieces! She is in the hardcore teething stage right now, and always wants to put something in her mouth!

I have a "plastic" necklace similar to this one that has the same purpose- a teething ring. Very ingenious!

I don't think I'd put this in an infants mouth, but it's a beautiful piece. Very modern and elegant.

I am an expectant mom, yet the idea of a silver teething ring is a little off-putting to me, not to mention then wearing it as a necklace.

I don't understand the point of this. Why does my baby need to teethe on sterling silver?

Rebecca

as stated by others, I wouldnt want to teach my baby to chew on jewelry! yuck!

Thanks for the questions, Voters! The necklace is made of sterling silver because it's not only beautiful, but actually naturally anti-bacterial. It will also stay cool to help soothe baby's gums.

Its been quite a while since I've had a little one in my arms. Would the long chain pose any problems, either for the baby or the wearer?

Danielle

I've looked at other teething jewelry, but never purchased anything because it looked like someone stuck a teething ring on a cord and called it a necklace. This, however, is beautiful! My concern is whether or not the rings would still be antibacterial if they were engraved?

2" rings seem too small for safety with children putting in their mouth, and too large to wear as a necklace.

Thanks for the great feedback! We're happy to see so much interest in this handmade design. To answer some of your questions, yes, the necklace can be engraved and the engraving won't interfere with the antibacterial properties of the silver. Also, just a reminder, the necklace is to be worn by mama, not baby. It should only be used with adult supervision. (Meaning baby should only teethe on it while mom is wearing it.)
