Dandy Little Garden

A little piece of Los Angeles lives in this charming necklace. It is, after all, the place that inspired artist Christine Street to make it. The face of the pendant, made out of reclaimed sterling silver, features a bundle of cubic zirconia-accented dandelions that glisten when they catch the light. Its understated elegance makes this piece a lovely accessory for everyday wear, as well as special occasions. Every piece of jewelry is crafted in Street's solar powered, sustainable studio in Los Angeles, CA.

Christine Street

Christine Street has always loved to create. As a child her imagination ran wild with adventures of excavating precious stones from her backyard, setting up an icicle boutique, and doll clothing created out of paper towels. Her homework pages were covered in doodles of flowers and birds. Her love of design led her to FIDM to study fashion design. After many years as a clothing designer and merchandiser her life was enriched with the birth of her first child. She had already developed a loyal following of her handcrafted jewelry and decided to turn her hobby into a business while on maternity leave. Life was never the same again.

Now with 2 children, Christine is able to experience those childhood adventures again while pursuing a career that she loves and is inspired by everyday. Christine's designs reflect a love of nature and that blissful feeling you get when you are connected to all that is around you and feel gratitude for it. Christine is originally a self taught jewelry artisan. She now takes classes at local art centers to learn more and spark that inspiration even more. collection
