Shapeshifter

Artisan Etta Kostick was raised by a family of glassblowers along the woodlands and seashores of Massachusetts. Influenced by these scenic environs, tribal imagery, and the stately architecture of her current hometown, Chicago, the designer utilizes stained glass (called copper foiling) and malleable soldered metal to create refined geometric pieces that possess touch of fantasy.

Wax nostalgic about your geometry days with this six-sided bracelet. Etta's upbringing is reflected in each handcrafted piece, where she frames each miniature window with soldered metals using classic techniques. The designer's work reflects a host of eclectic imagery, from decomposing trees and moss to modern architecture and tribal influences. Handmade in Chicago.

Etta Kostick

Etta is compelled by glass in its many different forms and applications. She grew up in the woods and by the seashore in Massachusetts, in a family of glassblowers. After moving to Chicago in 2007 she started experimenting with stained glass, attracted to the many colors, textures, and its relationship to light. See all creations.
