Double-Dipper
We've all experienced it. You grab your soup and you think you've got the crackers under control. But before you know it, preventing your soup from sloshing becomes your priority, those crackers become an afterthought and the inevitable happens; your salty sides take a dive onto the floor, crumbs shuffle off, and in trying to prevent one mess, you end up with a bigger one. Poor crackers always get the brush off!
Finally, your crunchy companions have a home, right where they belong, nestled next to your soup. This hand-sculpted piece by Brian Kunkelman lets you end the juggling act and concentrate on satisfying your comfort food cravings. Each piece is coated with a lovely food-safe glaze that emphases the concentric ripples molded into the clay. And while it provides the perfect place to pair hearty helpings of soup or chili and crackers, this piece is also perfectly suited for dips of all sorts, as well as sweet combinations, like ice cream and cookies. Handmade in Pennsylvania.

Just thinking about a piping hot serving of yummy soup with a side of crispy crackers is making us hungry! What other uses could you find for Eric Hertz' clever design?

That is awesome! No more separate bowl and plate resulting in smooshed crackers!

good idea and great price. a bit ugly but when it comes to soup and crackers any sacrifice is necessary.

Very handy for all sorts of food pairings. I wish it came in different colors, though.

Good idea but price seems a little high. Wonder if it would hold a slice of french bread when eating gumbo, etc.

Like the idea.. Seen elsewhere as a set and more visually appealing.

I like it, but it seems a little expensive for just one.

Less is more. I don't need special bowls for soup and crackers. It isn't that hard to have a plate w crackers on the table along with soup bowls

I think this is very innovative idea.

I love the idea. It would be more attractive if it were cream or white to match more kitchen styles. More importantly, it seems fragile. Is it dishwasher safe? Microwaving soup is pretty standard and leftovers are generally cold, so the temperature change issue would make it a lot less useful. Sorry, great idea-poor material choice.

Not my style since I don't like to have crackers with my soup

Great idea! I'd love to have a couple of these.

This is perfect! I eat so much soup in the winter, and the crackers? Where do they go? On the table? Ew. Please carry this!

I have been searching for a pistachios bowl and this would be great. One enclave for shells another for the actual nut.

A little ugly. Different color would be nice, but still very practical and useful.

What a great idea! Price too high for a soup bowl, $25 - really!? At that price that's all I'll be able to afford is soup! lol Not wild about the color either, make it more appealing; presentation makes up 50% of what you put in the bowl. Great idea Eric!

Not attractive at all and pricey.

You need to carry more USA made items. Dump China and other countries that use child labor and sell USA.

I think the price would be better suited to two bowls.

Cute! Versatile! and Handmade! Would definitely purchase...
Jessica

Not very attractive, bulky, not multi-purpose, and unnecessary when you can just throw your crackers in your soup! Mmmm mmm.

Perhaps a lighter color tone would be moreinteresting and welcoming.

would be nice if they were sold in sets of two or fourModerator asked for other ideas......I'd put yogurt in the bowl and granola toppings on the side, or oatmeal with brown sugar on the side or cereal with strawberry or banana slices on the side, etc.

i like the concept, price and the fact that this is handmade in the usa. the one issue i have is i am a soup and saltine cracker kind of girl, and i don't think this design is meant to carry the square salty deliciousness..

Handmade. USA. Beautiful.
Gayle
LOVE this bowl! Price is OK. It could be used for other things, too...cereal and milk (separate so the cereal doesn't get soggy).
Georgia
i would lower the price to maybe 15.99 but no more than 20 dollars target has these for 1.00 in there kitchen area and they are plastic and ceramic cuz for kids they need to be unbreakable
linda
I like this idea. I would buy.

Thanks so much for all of your suggestions on how to use this beautiful bowl! Results on this item are coming soon, and we can't wait to find out if the Soup and Crackers (or fruit and yogurt, milk and cereal, oatmeal and toppings...) Bowl will enter our assortment.

This looks great! This would make a great gift!
