Looking Chipper

One chilly morning near her studio in Abilene, TX, artist Mary Gregory spotted a darling little bird--a dark-eyed Junco. "Her brave little pose on this cold, gray day inspired the painting," which she calls Look Up. This reproduction of her original oil painting is printed onto canvas with unfinished edges. The 4" deep hardwood box frame can be hung or rest freestanding on a shelf. As a final, homespun detail, a strip of burlap upholstery webbing wrapped around the outside of the frame. Made in Texas.

Mary Gregory

Like most artists, Mary Gregory has painted all of her life. Oils have become her medium of choice and are perfect for capturing detailed elements of nature and scenes from her country home in Texas.

She takes great delight in the natural world - from an elegant butterfly wing to a vast landscape and everything in between - she enjoys painting as a way of interacting with these things and their Creator.
