Denis Guidone, as student of architecture, design and visual communication studied urban planning and architecture in Milan, Italy and Oporto, Portugal. His project process was born under the concept of subtraction, an ideology that follows the unification of opposites through a constant approach on the edge of architecture and visual communication, and at the same time mediated by an expressive intensity that addresses work on the basis of subtraction. Fascinated by the passing of time, Guidone carries out this intense didactic work for several universities and design schools, in Italy and abroad. His many awards and honorable mentions include: Ida international design award in Los Angeles, IDOT Best Italian Design Product, and The Bruno Munari international award.
Seize the Moment
Sometimes, there's a moment in life when everything just seems to line up. And when that's not the case, sometimes you just have to wait, and your turn will come around again. This sleek, contemporary watch plays with that shifting perception of reality.
Bright white, minimalist minute and hour hands seem to float against a matte black background. The second hand stretches across a small, central disk. For fleeting seconds as it rotates, it lines up perfectly with the other two hands, giving them a momentary boost. The watch is housed in a sleek, ion plated black stainless steel case, with a matching black Kevlar band. Made in China with Japanese & Chinese components.
