Michael Bellino

Michael Bellino started making SkiChairs back in 1993 after purchasing a house on a lake and building an enormous dock that needed furniture.

Looking for an alternative to plastic patio furniture, he found inspiration in O'Neils Bike and Ski Shop, which he managed. Two weeks and two prototypes later, he created the first SkiChair with his old racing and bump skis. Michael says he's still sitting in that original chair today! See all creations.

Michael Bellino's ski designs always make us dream of hitting the slopes! This one also gets us a little thirsty. Do you know a snow bunny who'd love to get this bottle opener as a gift?

I like it but too pricey for a kitchey bottle opener.

Its stated as a wine opener and its a bottle opener... just saying...

It's cool, but I wouldn't spend that much on a bottle opener.

Rather pricey for such a simple bottle opener. It looks like a nail clipper.

Thanks for catching that, Candice! That was our typo. We updated the product name, since it is not for wine bottles--it's for regular beer or soda bottles. The name change should show up soon. Thanks again!

Great idea and lovely design but I would only pay about half of that.

It is a bit pricey - but it's handmade in Massachusetts. I'd rather pay a bit more to support a local artist.

couldn't tell what this was without reading the description (and even now can't tell that it's a ski.)

I don't think there is much market for it.

You're getting too many "junkie" items. Stay with your exceptional products.

Cool idea. But 10.38" long? That is way too big to be useful.

I already know the perfect person to buy this for!
