semi necklace - seaby Eben Papele & Jude Rand
- the story
By The Sea
Jewelry designers Jude Rand and Eben Papele hand cut and hammer each piece of jewelry in their Upstate New York studio so that no two pieces are exactly alike. Blending geometric motifs with folk art traditions, they are equally enamored with the very old and the very new.
Inspired by the sun setting over the ocean, this delicate necklace is highlighted by two hand-textured sterling silver semi-circles. They hang from a simple silk cord strung with handmade Japanese glass beads. Handmade in New York.

Eben Papele & Jude Rand
Rand Papele was born of the shared vision of partners Jude Rand and Eben Papele. We met twenty years ago and have been collaborating ever since. It is our desire to create personal objects in our own language of shapes, patterns and symbols that references traditional folk handcrafts as well as modernist schools of thought.
