Heather Goodwin and Kerry Alice Collins create sterling silver and bronze jewelry designs that celebrate the beauty of nature. Their designs start with a hand picked organic object. Some of their favorite things to collect are twigs, maple seeds, acorns, sea glass and pebbles. Every season brings them something new to find. These found treasures are all native to the Atlantic Northeast, their home.
Their jewelry designs are cast in sterling silver and bronze using their own “natural burnout” casting method. This allows them to make an exact replica of the organic object in metal, preserving its beauty. Other designs are made using traditional metalsmithing techniques. Their sea glass collection is hand bezeled in sterling silver and findings are fabricated from sheet and wire.
They put an emphasis on recycled and found objects because preserving the environment is very important to both Heather and Kerry. Each and every piece of jewelry they make is made to last a lifetime.
