SAN FRANCISCO NEIGHBORHOOD MAP WOODEN ROUTING

California Groovin'

Dave Marcoullier surely knows San Francisco. He's a landscaper and certified arborist living in the city's Mission District. He also crafts these extraordinary wooden maps of San Francisco's historic neighborhoods.

Marcoullier creates his plaques using deeply hued, solid walnut. He drafts the design on computer, and mills the image into the wood with a router. Finally he sands and finishes each one by hand. The areas representing the city retain the unaltered color of the wood, while the darker areas, representing water, are achieved with a natural teak oil stain. A hole is bored in the back for simple mounting. Handcrafted from sustainably harvested wood in San Francisco, CA.

  • Item ID: 21165
  • Materials: solid walnut wood, teak oil
  • 7" L x 7" W x approx 1" D
  • Key hole on back of routing for hanging. Hanging hardware not included. Works well with standard picture frame hardware. Apologies for any inconvenience, but we cannot offer your choice of city at this time.
