Animal Ambiance
Take a nap on the wild side with these soft and vibrant pillows, handmade by artists in India using traditional batik techniques. To create each piece, textile craftsmen sketch zebra, giraffe and tiger prints onto hand-dyed cotton and then pour wax to pattern both the animal face (front of pillow) and its corresponding print (back of pillow). Sold as a set of three. Removable cotton cover with poly fill. Machine wash covers, then air dry. Handmade in India.

Where are all of these inflated prices coming from?
Cassie, UncommonGoods Community Moderator
Thanks for the question, Al. These pillows are handmade by skilled artisans in India. Our supplier ensures that their workers are given fair wages and safe working conditions--which does increase the cost of the set. Although these pillows cost a bit more than they would if they were mass-produced, those few extra dollars can make a big difference in the lives of fair trade certified craftspeople.

Love these pillows and they would work so well in a child/nursury room as decoration only.

These are unique and appear to be well made. The price is so-so but I think people would show be impressed with the designs.
