Succulent grower Heather Auchter believes in blooming where you’re planted. “I'm always looking for different ways people can use succulents to brighten their day,” says the California resident, who creates unique displays for the easy-to-care-for plants, bringing them from garden to wall. “My inspiration comes from thrift shopping and using containers and reclaimed wood for planters,” she adds. Whether clients seek Heather out for their weddings or terrariums, she reveals that they soon come to appreciate the hardy creatures as much as she does: “There are so many ways that people can use these plants. They’re hooked once they start collecting!”
