When you have technology as advanced as an iPad tablet, it's a bright idea to protect them against scratches. And what could be brighter than these vibrant, rip-stop nylon sleeves! Inside each is a lining of soft fleece, and an amply sized cover flap with a Velcro closure.

The durable nylon is the same kind of material that is used in hot air balloons, kites and tents, but at the end of a roll there is always fabric too small for the manufacturer to use. It's that unused fabric that is being rescued and upcycled for these pouches, giving new life to formerly wasted resources. Made in Longmont, Colorado. Fabric sourced from USA.

Exclusively at UncommonGoods.

When you see hot hair balloons floating by, way up in the sky, or kites flying gracefully in the wind, you probably don't think of your iPad. But this clever design actually uses the same fabric those balloons and kites are made of! (Check out the product story to learn more.) We love the bright colors and the sleek look. The soft fleece lining is also a nice touch. What do you love about these Ripstop sleeves?

Love it.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Like it, but price will make the final determination.

fun idea for an ipad

Vote: Thumbs down!

I would want a material that is much sturdier to protect a piece of technology such as an ipad etc..

Vote: Thumbs up!

But what about the static electricity generated by the fleece and the nylon. Ouch.

Vote: Thumbs down!

I feel like the market has been inundated with choices of iPad cases. How many does each person use?...

Vote: Thumbs down!

Meh. Already better covers out there that also have a built in stand and seem more sturdy than this.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Too many iPad cases/covers/etc. out there. How about covers for other tablets, like the Kindle or Nook?

Vote: Thumbs down!

From the orange velcro on the pink sample, to the overall "cheap" look - not worth it at any price.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Great for teenagers. Only concern is for actual iPad protection (not just covering).

Vote: Thumbs up!

I liked to see more colors offered.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Upcycled! Yay!

Vote: Thumbs up!

It looks like it would keep it waterproof as well.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Material looks flimsy, not sturdy enough to protect something that expensive

Vote: Thumbs down!

With so many creative and fun options for an Ipad, I wouldn't pick such a bland design.

Vote: Thumbs down!

doesn't look sturdy enough to protect and expensive iPad tablet. Too many already on the market. BUT I do like that its upcycled material from hot air balloons, kites

Vote: Thumbs up!

if i could afford an ipad,i would definitely want this!!

Vote: Thumbs down!

It's like a hideous track suit for your iPad. I like the idea of it being up cycled but those colors/fabrics are not for me.

Vote: Thumbs down!

If I was to buy protection for an iPad, I would want it to be padded.

i like it ,should sell

My husband would LOVE this Washable also
