Taste Of Tradition

Celebrate the beauty of tradition with Tamara Baskin's radiant Ribbon Seder Plate, hand-crafted to frame your feast with lush, green swirls symbolic of renewal. Six ceremonial pods are hand-cut and fused over gold Hebrew and English labels for chazeret (romaine lettuce), z'roa (roasted shankbone), charoset, maror (chrein), karpas (celery sticks) and beitzah. A stunning way to share blessings on the first night of Passover, this glossy plate is sure to become a memorable part of your family tradition. Tamara's art lives on through her family, who continue her handmade glasswork in Florida.

Tamara Baskin

Born and raised in Israel, Tamara Baskin began her career in art after moving to the United States.

A self-taught artist with more than twenty years experience working in several media, she spent the last years of her life working with fused glass--with emphasis in creating elegant yet functional designs to celebrated Jewish life.

Her work has been featured in American Style, Niche magazine, the New York Times Best of Season issue, Boca magazine and many other local media. Her American Flag Menorah is on display in the White House, and her Israeli Flag Menorah was a gift to former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Tamara passed away in 2007, but her family continues to preserve her memory through carrying on her art.

    Comments about Ribbon Seder Plate:

Borrowed one of these this spring to have a Seder plate on each table. Guests loved it, not too much needed to be placed on it, quick clean up...the next morning.
