At one time, this barrel bottom sealed the French or American oak vessel used to age and ferment fine wines. Now, it receives new life as a handsome, repurposed piece of home décor that is bound to make wine lovers and recycling aficionados alike dizzy with delight. Each piece draws its beauty from holding a variety of rich, red wines. The barrel bottom's unique shade and richness of color varies greatly on the varietal and if the head was toasted (wine barrels are toasted on the inside from time to time). Handmade by artisans in Texas.Each is one-of-a-kind and will vary.
