...By Any Other Name

Colder weather shouldn't mean a farewell to flowers. Wear your favorite blossoms year-round with this beautiful rose-inspired scarf. This resistant, colorful bloom is handmade by artisans based in the gaucho region of Brazil, an area rich in natural resources that is known for a long, romantic tradition of cattle herding by South American cowboys.

Unfortunately, this item cannot ship outside of the United States at this time.

These blooms won't fade as winter approaches. In fact, they become more useful as a functional fashion accessory! Would you wear a reminder of spring flowers as the weather gets colder?

But....why? It doesn't look particularly warm.... =/

Vote: Thumbs down!

Too much fashion, not enough function.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Does not look like it would be warm

Vote: Thumbs down!

No function. Would not provide warmth

Vote: Thumbs up!

Who says it has to be functional? It's pretty, and would look great (and be warm enough) with a turtleneck.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Agree with others that it certainly doesn't look warm...and it isn't all that decorative.

Vote: Thumbs down!

I don't quite get this one! As an embelishment on a canvas bag...yes. As a scarf...not so much!

Vote: Thumbs down!

I knit, so I have seen this else before. I think that this would not go with very many items.

Vote: Thumbs down!

The concept is cool, but the purpose of a scarf is to keep a person warm. How would this scarf accomplish that?

Vote: Thumbs down!

This looks kind of cheap- and I think I could make one myself...

Vote: Thumbs down!

Reminds me of a costume piece for a play, not something I would want to wear out.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Though this is pretty, it does not seem to be functional. I can not see myself wearing this as it would not provide much warmth!

Vote: Thumbs down!

Cute idea, but I don't think it's practical as a functional scarf. It would work well as a decorative accesory, though I wonder what it looks like when it hangs on the body.

Vote: Thumbs up!

ooooo aaawww It is beautiful, natural, colorful and unique. You will get compliments on this one. What more can I say!

Vote: Thumbs down!

Looks more like jumprope handles than roses. scarf part looks too skinny to keep my neck warm.

Vote: Thumbs down!

It's pretty and unique, but honestly, the only reason I would buy this is if I had a friend who lived in or loved Brazil. And even then, the "DCO" label would give me pause. A picture of the scarf on the model would be a good idea - that way we can see if fashion really is more important than function.

Vote: Thumbs down!

I would only wear this if I was dating the Phantom of the Opera.

Just not attractive at all.

As a souvenir of a failed attempt to rescue Briar Rose from her slumber, the illusion of being strangled by a rose is eye-catching. As a functional wardrobe item intended to either keep you warm or not look like you have a cable wrapped around your neck, this is a fail.

I think it will look like a jump rope around your neck.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Interesting and different design

Vote: Thumbs down!

I could not tell that they were roses.

Vote: Thumbs down!

I live where it actually gets below zero. Maybe a dozen would be better.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Unusual and lovely

Vote: Thumbs down!

Not functional and not particularly pretty

Vote: Thumbs up!

Love this! I'd absolutely wear it! It's more a necklace than a scarf, however... Anyone making anything like this here in the USA?

Vote: Thumbs down!

Impractical. Dry clean only. Looks more like something you would see on a coral reef than a rose. Not a fan.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Vote: Thumbs down!

Not very pretty IMHO as a scarf. Looks more like a rope or a tieback for drapes.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Having voted no, not my style, it certainly is someone's fun item.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Does not look like it could keep you warm. I want a product that serves too purposes.

Vote: Thumbs down!

doesn't look very thick, how could it actually function as a cold weather scarf?

Vote: Thumbs down!

not EVEN functional

Vote: Thumbs down!

no function, dry clean only

Vote: Thumbs up!

Love this - so unique!

Vote: Thumbs down!

This looks like something that could easily choke a person if it gets caught in an elevator or car door.

Vote: Thumbs down!

I like the style but it seems like it's not really a scarf that would keep you warm. It's hard to tell because there is no sense of scale but looks really thin.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Cute idea, but it looks way too skinny to keep you warm on a cold day. I love fun scarves and hats... I have a closet of crazy animal ones and would love something like this, but I want them to do their job AND look cool.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Cute - but not much of a "scarf."

Vote: Thumbs down!

Pretty but not practical. This would not keep you warm.

Vote: Thumbs up!

This is ridiculously adorable and I would LOVE to purchase this. I especially love that the roses are handmade by Brazilian artisans. Romantic, sweet, and very different.

Vote: Thumbs down!

No offense to the maker, but when I first saw the thumbnail.. I thought it was a jump rope! The "roses" don't look like roses, and the leaves are a brownish green which resembles mold. It does not appeal to me at all. Not to mention, it's not thick to provide any warmth during cold months. If not for "the look" or practical reasons, what is it for?

Vote: Thumbs up!

Very cute idea. Don't know how warm it would keep you.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Nice design but not as scarf.

Vote: Thumbs down!

I don't like the way it looks.

Vote: Thumbs down!

i'm not a fan of thin scarves

Vote: Thumbs down!

It does not look very nice, it is kind of ugly and really not functional at all.

Vote: Thumbs down!

It would be better were it thicker.

I like it, the colors are great. Not sure on warmth but it would be a fun show piece around your neck. Innovative

This scarf is way too narrow to serve any useful function. The "roses" look more like calla lilies to me. Also, why isn't the "stem" green? Nice idea, poor execution.

misses the mark with me, and I LOVE roses.

It's very pretty, but it lloks too thin to be warm.
