Thanks for asking, Kelly! This handmade ornament can be hung in a window for use as a suncatcher, or you could display it on a hook in your kitchen or another room. You could also mix and match it with other glass fruit and veggie ornaments in a basket for a table centerpiece.

It's not quite pretty enough to be a stand-alone piece. Maybe in a callection of glass veggies, but that would probably become too expensive.

Very pretty. The designer should consider making more vegetables. A grouping of several different types in a glass bowl would look lovely in a dining room or kitchen.

To answer your question, Kim, it is 3-dimensional. It's 3.5 inches high and 2.5 inches in diameter, so it's the size of an actual small onion.

I like this a lot better as a suncatcher than the handblown suncatchers shown earlier. This is whimsical, for those of us who spend a lot of time chopping, dicing, slicing, etc you get the drit.
